General Terms and Conditions of Sale – INEDITO
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all orders placed on the website www.inedito.fr for all items offered by private individuals who are not traders. Consequently, the act of ordering a product offered for sale on the website INEDITO implies full and unconditional acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, which the Customer acknowledges having read prior to placing the order.
INEDITO reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions of sale at any time. Nevertheless, the General Terms and Conditions of Sale applicable to an order placed by a customer on the website www.inedito.fr are those accepted by the customer at the time the order is placed.
1. Entirety
These General Terms and Conditions set out the entirety of the parties' obligations. In this regard, the customer is deemed to accept without reservation all of the provisions set out in these general terms and conditions of sale. INEDITO undertakes, for its part, to fulfil its role as seller within the framework of these terms.
2. Purpose
The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions is to define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the online sale of products offered by INEDITO, as well as the conditions of ordering, payment, delivery, and management of any returns.
3. Order
Capacity to contract
Any customer of INEDITO declares that they have the legal capacity to contract under the conditions described below, that is to say, they are an emancipated minor or have reached the legal age of majority and are not under protection within the meaning of Article 488 of the Civil Code.
INEDITO reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute, in particular a payment dispute.
Acceptance of the terms by the customer
These terms may be consulted on the website www.inedito.fr and sent by e-mail upon simple request.
Placing an order constitutes irrevocable acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.
Placing an order
The customer may place an order online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on www.inedito.fr. Any order constitutes acceptance of the prices and product descriptions displayed on the website.
Secure online payment constitutes proof of purchase and makes the order final.
Order confirmation
A confirmation e-mail is sent to the customer after the order has been validated. The customer must check the accuracy of the information provided. In the event of an error, the reshipping costs will be borne by the customer.
4. Product information
Product characteristics
The products offered on www.inedito.fr are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy. However, differences in the perception of colours and textures may exist depending on screens and cannot give rise to liability on the part of INEDITO.
As they are handmade, the bags may present slight variations, guaranteeing their unique character.
5. Prices
Prices are stated in euros (€) and include VAT applicable on the date of the order. They include handling and packaging costs but exclude delivery charges, which are indicated before the order is validated.
Price changes
INEDITO reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but undertakes to apply the rates in force at the time of the order.
6. Payment
Payment is made online by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) or any other secure method offered on the website.
Payment must be made in full at the time of the order. INEDITO guarantees the confidentiality and security of bank details transmitted via SSL encryption.
7. Shipping & Delivery
INEDITO undertakes to dispatch orders within the announced timeframes, but these timeframes are indicative and may vary depending on artisanal workload, busy periods, or events beyond our control.
➡️ A delay caused by the carrier (La Poste, Mondial Relay, etc.) does not under any circumstances constitute grounds for a refund or cancellation, as transit times are not the responsibility of INEDITO.
➡️ Once dispatched, the parcel can neither be cancelled nor refunded. Delivery charges correspond to a service rendered and are therefore never refundable.
Incorrect address / Collection point choice or parcel not collected
The customer is fully responsible for the information provided when placing the order (address, collection point choice, contact details, etc.).
In the event of:
• Parcel not collected within the required time
• Incorrect or incomplete address
• Collection point full and parcel returned to the seller
• Refusal of the parcel without valid reason
➡️ Reshipping costs will be borne in full by the customer.
No refund will be made in this case.
Production times
Creation times are clearly indicated on each product page.
By validating their order, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these timeframes.
👉 It is therefore not possible to cancel an order several days or weeks later on the grounds that it has not yet been dispatched: production is started exclusively for you.
8. Right of withdrawal & Returns
INEDITO bags are made to order, specially for each customer.
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, products made to order do not benefit from the right of withdrawal.
Consequently:
• orders are firm and final
• no refund or return will be accepted for a simple change of mind or a subjective assessment of the product
We invite our customers to carefully review the photos and descriptions before placing an order.
Exceptions – Defective product
A refund or replacement may be considered only in the following cases:
• product received damaged
• major manufacturing defect
In this case, the customer must:
1. contact customer service within 48 hours of receipt
2. provide photos or videos of the issue
Without proof or outside the deadline, the request cannot be accepted.
→ Manufacturing defects
A return or refund may be considered only in the event of a proven manufacturing defect.
A manufacturing defect corresponds exclusively to:
• structural damage to the product during the manufacturing process
• a product unusable due to a manufacturing error
• a missing element preventing normal use of the product
→ Elements that do NOT constitute a defect
The following are not considered defects:
• the size or opening of the bag, clearly shown in the photos and descriptions
• the thickness or flexibility of the yarn
• variations related to handcrafted production
• slight differences from the visuals
• slight marks related to the manufacturing process that do not affect use of the product
• any subjective assessment concerning quality or appearance
These characteristics are part of the handcrafted manufacturing process and do not constitute non-conformity.
9. Liability
INEDITO cannot be held liable in the event of a delivery delay beyond its control (strikes, disruptions, etc.).
No liability may be incurred in the event of normal wear and tear of the product or improper use by the customer. Indeed, our bags are designed for everyday use and can carry a reasonable weight. However, excessive overloading may affect their shape and durability. Inedito cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper use, particularly the transport of excessively heavy items.
10. Intellectual property
All elements of the website www.inedito.fr are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of INEDITO. Any reproduction, use, or distribution, even partial, is prohibited without prior authorisation.
11. Personal data
The information collected during orders is used solely for their processing and will never be resold to third parties.
In accordance with the law Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, the customer has the right to access, modify, and delete their data by contacting INEDITO at ineditofr@gmail.com.
12. Archiving & Evidence
The computerised records kept by INEDITO shall constitute evidence of the communications, orders, and payments made between the parties.
13. Dispute resolution
These general terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. Failing agreement, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts.
